NCCF Specialized Racing is kicking off their 8th season today! This season looks to be one of the best yet as they are planning on making some big changes to the program.
To start, 3 of the oldest riders on the roster are being released. Those riders are Leonard Cooney, Brad Downing and Arlindo Jil. Both Cooney and Downing have been apart of the team since the beginning 8 seasons ago.
In return, Davis has signed 2 young talents that he believes will be valuable assets to the team.
First off is Hannes Rumreich, a 21 year old German who looks to be a very good teammate for the races which include several hills. When asked for a quote, Rumreich responded with, "I am very delighted to be apart of a great program such as NCCF Specialized. I look forward to doing everything that I can to help this team continue to thrive."
The second signing is the 22 year old Norwegian, Peder Kleiven. Kleiven is very good at down hills and plans to keep his teammates safe while guiding them down the descents. "I am thankful for this oppurtunity that the team has given me. However, I do not plan to be in a support role forever as I am hoping to develop into a captain on the downhill/sprint races" Kleiven said. We will officially see him on the roster come day 15.
Lastly, we had a chance to catch up with the manager himself, Cole Davis. "The past 7 seasons have been good, but I am hoping to make our 8th season great! My goals for the season include winning the white jersey at the Tour of the Sanreizan with Tyler Boyle, winning 3 or more races this season(the team record is 2), and launching our u23 program by day 20. This season we have made a lot of big changes and I can not wait to see how it all plays out!"

Good luck in the mountains this season, Cole! You should invest in TT center for Boyle, this will give you a leg up on most of your competitors in Sanreizan
